Textron Corporate Summer Interns in Texas Volunteer at Local Food Bank

Textron Corporate’s summer finance and IT interns in the Fort Worth, Texas area volunteered at Tarrant County Food Bank (TAFB) in July 2019. Local markets donated fresh produce and the team sorted through the goods and performed quality control. The produce was then distributed to the food bank's network of hunger-relief charities that provide emergency groceries and meals to Tarrant County and Fort Worth communities in need.

TAFB is the primary source of donated food for hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties. With the help of generous donors, volunteers and partners, TAFB is able to feed the hungry and provide programs to help individuals, families and communities thrive.
